  6. This license agreement supersedes all earlier copies, including that found in
  7. the Ad Hoc on-line help system.
  8.  
  9. You are authorized to use this evaluation version of Ad Hoc for a period of
  10. 21 days.  If you use the program after the 21-day evaluation period, you are
  11. required to register your copy and pay the registration fee for a license to
  12. use the software.  Your use of the product, during and after the evaluation
  13. period is governed by the terms of this agreement.

  15. By installing and using this software, you agree to the following license
  16. agreement between yourself and ExLogica.  You should carefully read the
  17. following terms and conditions, and if you do not agree with them, do not use
  18. the software.

  24. Shareware (Evaluation) version of Ad Hoc
  25. ----------------------------------------

  27. The Shareware version of Ad Hoc displays the words "Unregistered Ad Hoc" in
  28. the title bar of the main window, and the designation "Evaluation Copy" in
  29. the client area of the main window.  Only copies of this version of Ad Hoc
  30. may be distributed as Shareware.  Other versions of Ad Hoc not so marked are
  31. registered, or retail, versions and may not be distributed as Shareware.

  33. You are hereby authorized to:

  35.   Use the Shareware version of the software for a 21-day evaluation period.
  36.  
  37.   Make copies of the Shareware version of this software and  documentation
  38.   for your own use. 
  39.   
  40.   Give exact copies of the Shareware Distribution Package (the file ADHOC.ZIP)
  41.   to anyone for their evaluation, and distribute the Shareware package of the
  42.   software and its documentation in its unmodified form via electronic media.

  44. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for
  45. any such copies, however made; and from distributing the software and/or
  46. documentation with other products or services (commercial or otherwise)
  47. without prior written permission from ExLogica.

  49. You may not use Ad Hoc after the 21-day evaluation period without first
  50. registering your copy and paying the license fee.  Unregistered use of Ad Hoc
  51. after the evaluation period, by any person, business, corporation, government
  52. agency, or any other entity, is strictly prohibited.

  55. Use of software
  56. ---------------
  57. Each registered copy may be used by only one person on one or more computers
  58. or workstations, or may be installed on a single computer for use by several
  59. people.  You may install and use Ad Hoc on a network, provided that you have
  60. purchased individual licenses for the software covering all workstations that
  61. will access the software through the network.

  63. You may not modify or patch the Ad Hoc executable files in any way.  You may
  64. not decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer the software in
  65. this product.  You may not sell or otherwise distribute Ad Hoc, enhancements
  66. to Ad Hoc, or Ad Hoc data dictionary or database files, or designs for such
  67. files, to anyone without express written permission from ExLogica.

  70. U.S. Government Restricted Rights
  71. ---------------------------------
  72. Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S.  Government of the computer
  73. software and documentation in this package shall be subject to the restricted
  74. rights applicable to commercial computer software as set forth in subdivision
  75. (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at
  76. 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The Contractor/manufacturer is Lyle
  77. Groome, dba ExLogica, 59 Golden Eagle Lane, Littleton, CO, 80127.

  81. This license agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

  85. Disclaimer and Limited Warranty

  88. This software and accompanying files and documentation are licensed "as is"
  89. and without any warranty as to performance or fitness for any particular use,
  90. or any other warranties expressed or implied.  The user must assume the
  91. entire risk of using this program.  If you have paid the registration fee for
  92. a license to use the software, and have received a registered version of the
  93. software from ExLogica, ExLogica warrants that the disks provided are free
  94. from defects in material and workmanship, assuming normal use, for a period
  95. of 90 days from the date of registration.  If a defect in the disk occurs
  96. during this warranty period, you may return the disk(s) for a replacement.

  98. EXLOGICA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT 
  99. NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A 
  100. PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT.  SHOULD THE PROGRAM 
  101. PROVE DEFECTIVE, THE PURCHASER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PAYING THE ENTIRE 
  102. COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION AND ANY INCIDENTAL 
  103. OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT WILL EXLOGICA  BE LIABLE FOR ANY 
  104. DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF 
  105. BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF DATA, OR THE LIKE) ARISING 
  106. OUT OF THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT  EVEN IF EXLOGICA HAS 
  107. BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  109. In no event shall the liability of ExLogica for any damages to you or any
  110. other person exceed the lesser of the suggested list price or the actual
  111. price paid for the license to use the software, regardless of any form of the
  112. claim.

  114. Your use of this product for any period of time constitutes your acceptance
  115. of this agreement and subjects you to its contents.
